Mr Bradnee Chambers is Executive Secretary of United Nations Environment Programme Convention on Migratory Species.
On October 29, 2016 “Ecological Belt and Road and CMS(Convention on Migratory Species) Workshop” was held by our foundation in Beijing, China. It’s our great honor to invite Mr Bradnee Chambers to the workshop and he brought valuable opinions to our discussion.
The next day, Dr. Chambers addressed at the First International ChildrenEnvironment Painting Awards ceremony on October 30 and highly appreciated Chinese talented future generations.
On October 31, Dr. Chambersdid a field research in China Biodiversity Conservation Areas for relic gulls and waterbirds, and set free six rescued rare birds including an eagle owl and a beara in Tianjin and Tangshan. He expressed his gratitude to the dedication and great work done by local volunteers on protecting key migratory birds such as relic gulls, red knots, and far eastern curlews.
On November 1, we arranged an interview for Mr Chambers with major media in China such as CCTV, China Daily, so that more Chinese will know about CMS from Mr Chambers’ introduction. He had a deep discussion with reporters and spoke highly of the achievement of the workshop and our foundation’s dedication to protect migratory species.
