Volunteer Vets of SCAU Tested the Nasal Secretion of “Last Night” | CBCGDF’s Record of Pangolin Rescue

On May 5, with the assistance of volunteer vets of South China Agricultural University, Sophia, Pangolin Girl of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) caught a big white tick under the head of “always sleep”, and collected the snot of “last night” and the fresh excreta of “not move” for chemical analysis.

 

The examination results of the snot are as follows:

Gram stain: lots of gram-positive coccus, red reticular tissues, and a few cells can be observed.

Diff Quik stain: lots of floccules, neutrophils, and a few lymphocytes can be observed. 

 

The examination results of the excreta are as follows :

Smear test: no parasite or ovum is found.

Gram stain: gram-positive bacteria are in the majority, including Bacillus and coccus. There are also cells suspected of inclusion bodies.
