On April 13th, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) receives a reply from the State Forestry and Grassland Administration to the two applications for information disclosure.
CBCGDF’s first application is to request the forestry authority to provide scientific institution’s survey report on demonstrating the imported pangolins and products (approved from January 1st, 2017) will not threaten the survival of this species.
The second application is to publicize permits, certificates, and other materials of importing eight pangolins (listed in the CITES Appendices) and products, approved from January 1st,2016 to February 21st, 2020. The information requested includes but not limits to the country of origin, country of dispatch, country of receipt, time of shipment, quantity, volume and HS code, etc.
