Many countries noted that the post-2020 framework should be more ambitious and strongly implemented. Finally, as co-chair of the meeting, he expressed his sincere thanks to the organizing committee for their work. Roundtable C focused on how nature-based solutions can make UNFCCC COP26 and the UNFSA mutually reinforcing. Ministers and heads of delegations from 26 countries delivered excellent speeches. Round Table D focused on knowledge, innovation and sharing. Technology transfer, data sharing and capacity building are essential aspects of the post-2020 framework. Knowledge and innovation provide strong technical support for biodiversity conservation. It is through technology assessment of governance and use that we can ensure that everyone can benefit. We need to raise public awareness of biodiversity to facilitate the achievement of the 2050 vision. Equitable public sharing of genetic resources and the benefits they generate requires strong policy and financial support. Multilateral cooperation and sharing among countries is particularly important.
