The 3rd World Forum on Science, Technology and Development will be held on November 6-7, 2021 at the Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone Exhibition Center in Beijing. The theme of this year’s forum is “Openness – Trust – Cooperation”, and is co-sponsored by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Science and technology are the common crystallization of human wisdom. The current new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change is accelerating, providing new paths to solve and respond to global development problems and challenges such as major infectious diseases, climate change and green development.

The World Forum on Science, Technology and Development is co-sponsored by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and has been held annually in Beijing, China, since 2019. With the themes of science, technology, development, openness, trust and cooperation, the Forum focuses on major topics such as scientific and technological revolution and industrial change, science and technology ethics and science and technology governance, digital economy, sustainable development, etc. It has invited Nobel Prize winners, globally renowned scientific scientists, educators, economists, entrepreneurs and other guests to make presentations, and releases the top ten scientific development of human society around the UN sustainable development agenda every year The Forum is supported by UNESCO, International Science Council, World Federation of Engineering Organizations, International Telecommunication Union, the Federation of Russia Scientific and Engineering Associations, Japan Science and Technology Agency, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and other international country organizations.
