CBCGDF Theme Activity: “World Environment Day” of One Earth, One Future

Awareness raising and active participation of people is quite important to protect the environment. In 1972, the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment designated June 5 as World Environment Day, the 51st of which is coming on June 5,2022. The theme determined by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) this year is “Only One Earth” which calls on change in policies, promoting sustainable, cleaner, and greener lifestyles,s and achieving harmonious coexistence with nature. The earth is our only home, so we must protect its limited resources.

On this day, countries, organizations, and people across the world will promote the significance of protecting and improving the environment through various activities. As a national society dedicated to environmental protection, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will also carry out a series of activities with the theme “One Earth, One Future”, calling on communities and individuals to raise their awareness of environmental protection and take practical actions for a green and sustainable lifestyle and protection of the earth’s limited resources.

Participation Models are as follows:

1. The theme of “One earth, One future” is open to all walks of life. Organizations that carried out activities on this topic are regarded as the co-sponsors of CBCGDF and will be awarded a public welfare certificate issued by CBCGDF.

2. The public will be regarded as actively participating in the series activities if they, on any platform, publish photography, videos, articles, paintings etc on the theme of “One earth, One future ”. Excellent works will be awarded a public welfare certificate issued by CBCGDF.

3. The third episode of the live broadcast series interview with Ambassadors to China: “the World Environment Day public service live broadcast” will be held online on the platform of Shunlian Power from 17:00 to 23:00 on June 2. Please save the date.

We sincerely invite all institutions, organizations and the public to participate in this series event in a unique and innovative way. Let us but also bring together the power and energy to contribute to the protection of the earth’s ecological environment.
