In order to better participate in the global scientific and technological governance and global environmental governance of international chemicals, hazardous materials and waste, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) “Reduce & Pick-up Plastics” Working Group was invited to submit to the Secretariat of the Three International Chemicals Conventions (BRS) on February 27, 2023 the application for a side event themed “Chemicals and Agricultural Biodiversity”.

On the evening of March 27, 2023, the “Reduce & Pick-up Plastics” working group of CBCGDF received a confirmation letter from the BRS Secretariat : the Secretariat approved its application for holding a themed side event during 2023 BRS COPs. The CBCGDF side event is sheduled on May 1st, 2023, 18:15-19:45(Geneva).
