Serving Scientists and Technical Experts | CBCGDF International Department Nominated Experts to Participate in the Frontier Work of the IPCC

Recently, the International Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) nominated Professor Tang Yi to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for participation in the seventh assessment report (AR7).

Professor Tang Yi works at the School of Disaster Prevention Technology and serves as a member of the Grassroots Safety Emergency Management Committee of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, a director of the Resource and Environmental Statistics Branch of the China Field Statistics Research Association, a director of the Statistical Cross Science Research Branch of the China Field Statistics Research Association, and an editorial board member of the Plant Environment Interactions journal. He used to lead national natural science general projects, youth projects, sub projects of the National Key Basic Research and Development Program (973) and the China Postdoctoral Fund. He has received one second prize in green mining science and technology, and was awarded the “Four Batches” of publicity and cultural talents in Langfang City, and high-level talents in Shenyang City.

For a long time, the CBCGDF International Department has adhered to the responsibility of serving the scientists and technical experts, actively promoting domestic experts to participate in international ecological governance. The Scoping Meeting for the IPCC Seventh Assessment Report (AR7) to be held tentatively in December 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. CBCGDF will continue to maintain high attention on it and provide expert services as usual.
