On June 15, 2024, Hebei Normal University held an Academic Conference “From the Caspian Sea to China: Literature, Technology, and Social Life”. 107 experts and scholars from 11 countries including China, Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy and Croatia attended the conference.
Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary General of China Foundation for Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and Fellow of World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS), was invited to give a keynote speech at the conference. Dr. ZHOU, with the topic of ecological civilisation research and green “Belt and Road”, started from the perspective of human civilisation development, and shared the significance of promoting people-to-people communication and civilisation co-construction of green “Belt and Road” from the perspective of ecological civilisation and biodiversity conservation by combining the specific cases of rain swallows and Alaskan snow crabs. He also shared the significance of promoting the green “Belt and Road” for people-to-people exchanges and civilisation co-construction.
