On May 19, 2024, the International Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) uploaded and showcased its event, titled “Biodiversity in China and Beyond: A Journey from Local Communities to Global Initiatives”, to be held on World Environment Day 2024 on the official website of the United Nations Environment Program(UNEP).
Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary General of the CBCGDF, invited by the University of Vienna, will deliver online a one-hour speech& lecture titled “Biodiversity in China and Beyond: A Journey from Local Communities to Global Initiatives” to students on June 4, 2024.
As UNEP considers, humanity cannot reverse time, but we can do our part for land. We are the generation capable of making peace with nature. World Environment Day on 5 June mobilizes millions of people to act for the planet. This year’s observance draws attention to restoring land, halting desertification and, building drought resilience.
