CBCGDF Deputy Secretary-General Invited to Attend the 7th (2024) China Energy Industry Development Annual Conference

Recently, Ms Linda Wong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) was invited to attend the upcoming 7th (2024) China Energy Industry Development Annual Conference and the 15th anniversary of China Energy News. This grand event is scheduled to take place on May 31 at the headquarters of the People’s Daily in Beijing.

Jointly organized by China Energy News and the China Energy Research Society, this annual conference aims to thoroughly implement relevant policies, promote the energy revolution, accelerate the establishment of new energy systems and new power systems, and further advance high-quality energy development. During the conference, a series of significant activities will be held, including the selection of exemplary ESG cases, the release of the New Quality Productivity Talent Program, the Youth Energy Entrepreneurs Innovation and Entrepreneurship Top 30 cases, and an exhibition showcasing the achievements of the energy revolution over the past decade. Additionally, the conference will feature multiple parallel forums, such as the International Cooperation Forum on Urban Energy Transition and the Green Energy and Industry Future Forum, providing a multi-layered and multi-faceted platform for attendees to engage and exchange ideas.

According to the organizers, the 7th (2024) China Energy Industry Development Annual Conference will delve into critical topics such as energy transition pathways under the “dual carbon” goals, energy security and supply stability, and clean energy transition. By gathering collective wisdom, the conference aims to jointly promote green energy development.

At this conference, the Deputy Secretary-General of CBCGDF will engage with various attendees, sharing experiences in promoting green development and biodiversity conservation. The discussion will focus on how to better protect the ecological environment during energy development, achieving a win-win situation for both economic and ecological benefits.
