On March 29th, 2024, Professor Shan Shengdao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, participated in the first symposium in response to the “China National Biodiversity Conservation Strategy and Action Plan (2023-2030)” in Beijing, hosted by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) .
He made four suggestions during his speech at the meeting, which are to pay more attention to the coordinated promotion of beautiful rural construction and biodiversity conservation, recognize the crucial importance of cultivating awareness of environmental and biodiversity conservation among young people, create rich research and learning opportunities such as natural observation of biodiversity and modern agriculture, and promote the international dissemination of the fourth civilization and biodiversity conservation.
