Kudos to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment’s Standards Task Force! CBCGDF’s  Policy Recommendations Adopted

On 24 April 2024, the General Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment called to provide detailed feedback on the previous recommendations by the Climate Change Working Group of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) on its “Determination of Water Quality and Water Temperature by Sensor Method (Draft for Comments)“, with some specific questions on part of the recommendations in the hope of obtaining more detailed answers to better improve the preparation of the standards. The seriousness and meticulousness the Ministry of Ecology and Environment Standards Task Force in its standards preparation is admirable and worthy of appreciation & praise, indeed.

<Reason>: The General Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment recently issued a notice on the public solicitation of opinions on four national ecological environmental standards, including the “Technical Specification for Continuous Monitoring of Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Chloride in Exhaust Gases from Fixed Pollution Sources (Draft for Comments)”, and the CBCGDF Climate Change Working Group responded positively to the call to organise a discussion on two of the standards to actively serve the scientific decision-making.

After careful study, the CBCGDF Climate Change Working Group put forward 2 suggestions for the “Technical Specification for Continuous Monitoring of Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Chloride in Exhaust Gases from Fixed Pollution Sources (Draft for Comments),” and 5 suggestions for the “Determination of Water Quality and Water Temperature by Sensor Method (Draft for Comments)”.

The CBCGDF Climate Change Working Group has provided detailed answers to each of the questions raised, and will continue to pay closer attention and contribute to the promotion of the construction of ecological civilisation.

As  a national first-level academy, CBCGDF will serve the government in its scientific decision-making nationally and locally as alwarys, actively contributing to the construction of ecological civilisation.
