On April 23, 2024, a technical workshop on Aquatic species listed in the CITES Appendices was held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Representatives of the International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation have attended the meeting in person.
The meeting opened with a welcoming address by CITES Secretary-General Ivonne Higuero.
A representative of the CITES Secretariat gave a brief introduction to the proceedings and notes for the two days of the meeting.
